It's HERE!!!

The Love's Landscapes Event has reached the climax!

Posting of finished stories began yesterday with Villains by Andrea SpeedBroken Phoenix by Edmond Manning, and Carte Blanche by Nash Summers! Since I'm working on my own (2nd) Love's Landscapes story (and already had to ask for an extended deadline) I have only had time to read Villains so far. It was wonderfully written! I've peeked at the others though, and I can certainly say you are in for a treat with this event!

Today's stories include The Lonely Drop by Vanessa NorthHinori's Journey by Victoria Zagar, and Awakenings by Jayson James.

I understand that FREE ebooks will be released a short time after each story is posted and can be found here. HOWEVER, group members get first access to every story before it is released to the general public. It is a fantastic group with plenty to offer and a cup of tea for everyone's taste.

P.S. Keep an eye out for my first Love's Landscapes story Contrary Instincts!

P.P.S. Go HERE for a list of links directly to the stories!

P.P.P.S. Can you tell I'm super-excited about this event?!

I want to hear from you!

So the second story I'm writing for Love's Landscapes has been pretty humorous so far. However there is now a scene that, to me, borders on dub-con. I've read dub-con and non-con. Non-con doesn't bother me if it's done right (sounds weird I suppose but that's the way my brain works). Dub-con hardly ever bothers me (unless it's an epic fail).
My question to you is: How do you feel about dub-con and/or non-con?

I Promise on EVERYTHING that I Hold Dear...

I have NOT and will NEVER abandon Snowboards & Tuxes or the Preston & Archer Unlimited Corporations series.

Yes, updates are few and far between right now; and for that I apologize profusely. The thing is, that while I'm brimming with words to tell Corbin and Ewan's story, I'm still writing for the Love's Landscapes Event hosted by the M/M Romance Group on Goodreads.

My AFF writing (my fanfictions and the P&A series) doesn't have deadlines.

Love's Landscapes does have deadlines.

This event is not put together by a business that pays employees to spend hours poring over manuscript after manuscript and dealing with authors that range the gamut from calm and sweet to emotional and ohmygodididntmeanitiswear!
Love's Landscapes is the 2014 incarnation of the annual Don't Read in the Closet Event that was begun in 2010 as a Christmas celebration extra which resulted in the Stuff My Stocking: M/M Romance Stories that are Nice and… Naughty anthology. The following year, this event was officially branded Don't Read in the Closet; and the anthologies that came in the following years have begun to expand the M/M reading community bit by bit. These anthologies are: Don't Read in the Closet (Hot Summer Days)Love Is Always Write (Don't Read in the Closet Events), and Love Has No Boundaries. Every single anthology and individual story is available for FREE from the M/M Romance Group at their website and/or Goodreads.

Now, today FREE doesn't mean much to most people, but I want you all to consider the following.

  1. The authors don't receive any money from these stories (unless they publish them after the release, but the M/M Romance group still offers it for free).
  2. As mentioned before, this event is not put together by a business that pays employees to spend hours poring over manuscript after manuscript and dealing with authors that range the gamut from calm and sweet to emotional and ohmygodididntmeanitiswear!
  3. This event IS planned, orchestrated, carried-out, and presented by VOLUNTEERS.
So please, bear with me and wait (patiently or impatiently) for updates to Snowboards & Tuxes while I write for this amazing event. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to participate.

P.S. The DRitC team is in dire need of more volunteers! You need to be a group member to see this post, but here is what they are looking for.

Minotaurs, Satyrs, and Harpies! Oh, my!

Well, as I mentioned, I picked up a second prompt for the Love's Landscapes event. It is progressing nicely and shaping up to be a longer story than the other one I wrote. ^_^

To make up for the lack of updates to Snowboards & Tuxes lately, I will be posting a short story featuring Dare and Cole! Check it out at adult-fanfiction.org !

Happy Easter Weekend!

Well, I picked up a second prompt for Love's Landscapes that had been re-opened. This one is rather yummy. It involves a human, a satyr, and a minotaur; and that's all I'm going to give away here ;)

So, I am still working on Snowboards & Tuxes; I'm just going slowly.

Happy Easter weekend!

Busy Bee

I daresay that Spring is the busiest season of the year!

I spent a week house-sitting back in the area where I was born and raised. You never really know how much you miss home until you go back. I didn't get much writing done while I was there but I certainly came up with some ideas for how each storyline should progress.

I can't wait to post an update!

Tonight, I'll (hopefully) be talking about Moonlight & Stained Glass at my local university with their Pride club. I have already gotten in contact with their art department concerning the digital creation of the stained glass window described in the book.

Remember the contest for the giveaway is still open here. Also, I went to Eske's Brew Pub & Eatery in Taos for St. Patrick's Day. After dinner I bought one of their beer growlers which I will be including in an ultimate giveaway when the series is complete, along with a print of the stained glass window from the first book and additional items complementing each book in the series.

P.S. This is not an April Fool's joke. Posting today might not be the best idea but *shrug* I had something to say so I said it. ;)
